Student Council

Our Eagles run an active Student Council. First semester elections are held in October for the office of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Activities Historian. In addition, each 4th -6th-grade class elect Class Representatives to attend the Student Council meetings with our Officers. Second-semester elections are held in January for the same elected positions.

Meetings are held twice a month. They are led by the Student Council President and run through Parliamentary Procedure. Our staff co-advisers for the Student Council are Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Cerwinski.

Student Council leaders help run monthly Flag Assemblies, deliver news of upcoming events, promote spirit days, create posters, and advertise upcoming community service projects.

Student Council sponsors Toys for Tots and the Canned Food Drive. They collect Box Tops for Education and lead the drive for collecting money for our JiJi Math computer programs.

Many of our students continue to sharpen their leadership skills by joining the Student Government at Brea Junior High School.
