ELAC

The English Learner Advisory Council is a committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members who specifically advise school officials on English Learner programs and services. Each California public school with more than 21 EL students must form an ELAC. The Olinda Elementary School ELAC is integrated into Olinda's School Site Council because the SSC focuses on the development of a Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), including dedicated discussions on the instructional programs of each student subgroup of our school (such as EL students).
